Do you write but not sing? Male vocalist available…

You’re a very good songwriter, maybe you’re brilliant. But there’s just one thing: you don’t have the greatest singing voice. Maybe pretty good – just not good enough to really sell the GREAT song you’ve just written.

I am a male demo vocalist with many styles under my belt: Rock, Country, Alternative, Metal, R&B, Standards, surf music…you name it.

I will put that finishing touch on your next song, including just the right vocal arrangement.

I have the ability to record at home and send you the files. Payments can be made by money order or through Paypal if it’s needed.

Go to http://www.myspace.com/jonstathammusic for samples of my work.

Feel free to call as well: (310) 882-1967 Jon
Thank you.

Looking to replace our vocalist

We are a rock, blues and pop band with all of the elements to perform including scheduled shows, professional management and connections. Our vocalist isn't fitting in and we need to make a change and replace them.

If you are experienced and between projects or looking for a new one please contact us.

We would require an mp3 or video along with pictures to make an accurate assessment of your capability. We'd also like a resume of bands you've played in, as well as a listing of songs you know.

We don't want any rock-stars, ego-maniacs, druggies, religious zealots - just a real person that can sing well and has the look and presence to compliment their voice and front a high-energy and talented group of musicians.

Contact us if interested and thanks in advance!

Searching for Female vocalist/ writer/ frontwoman for rock project...

posted: November 18, 2009, 01:51 PM

I am looking for female vocalist/frontwoman with unique abilities. Ideal candidate would be a ballsy mixture of Belinda Carlisle, Debbie Harry, Neko Case, and Gwen Stefani. You need to have a very strong voice, tons of energy, and not be timid or tame. Under 30 preferred, agressive attitude and stage presence a must. Not looking for a sensitive singer/songwriter church mouse type. Looking for a gal who can make the boys cry and the ladies want to be her. Wouldn't hurt if you could play guitar too, but it's not necessary.

This will not be a corner bar cover band (not that there's anything wrong with that, just not what this project is about). This will be an original project, so marketability is key, and writing ability is a huge plus. I am a writer and arranger, so I will be contributing, as well as holding down guitar duties, but I find singers perform songs better if they have some solid ownership.

Influences include- The Ramones, Cheap Trick, The GoGo's, No Doubt, Blink182, and lots more. Big, loud, fast, fun, riff-rock with great melodies and big hooks.

looking to form original band

hello, im 28 and play guitar. i'd like to start a band to write and play original music. i don't have a real specific musical direction in mind, but would like it to be as unique and imaginative as possible, but also musically pleasing to listen to. I would like very much to work with a female vocalist (if you are a male vocalist and are reading this please do respond i don't have a dislike for male vocals i would just like there to be some sensitivity in the singing and songwriting that i have not encountered much with male vocalists i have played with so far). also, if you play drums, bass, guitar, keys, or more obscure instruments and would like to explore and attempt to create music that is mysterious and beautiful, edgy and thought provoking, and emotionally charged then please respond.

www.myspace.com/ether79 for examples. Nothing you hear here is set in stone, it can be changed, added on to, changed, these are just ideas I've come up with on my own. I've been tracking demos in a local recording studio to hand out in hopes that someone will listen and be interested in joining a band with this kind of music. If you hear anything you like, please email me. Looking for drummer, bassist, second guitarist, and melody minded vocalist. - I am 30, on the west side of Cleveland, i am not a drunk, nor am I into drugs or drama. Like minded people only please.
Thanks for reading.
