Job Description
One of our top customers, a global leader in Energy and Healthcare field, is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for a long:term, temp:to:hire position. This position is located in Cleveland, OH.
The rate of pay is 22.00 per hour.
The scheduled work hours are Monday : Friday, 8:00 AM : 5:00 PM.
Under supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will work within defined parameters to make decisions, meet day:to:day short:term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short:term planning. The Project Coordinator is responsible for aiding in planning, scheduling, and assisting Project Management team with documentation, process, and general engineering related support activities. The Project Coordinator may also serve as focus for customer satisfaction by calling customers directly to obtain their feedback on project execution, quality and progress. In addition, the Project Coordinator serves as the primary support for inquiries regarding project schedules, milestone performance / financial metrics.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
:Establish and maintain project administrative files and records; provide document control support for customer and supplier submittals
:Manage multiple requests, prioritize, and provide timely resolution
:Format / review documentation in preparation for release
:Support Metrics collection, formatting, and presentation for review
:Support schedule, milestone, and plan definition for project execution
:Maintain schedule to ensure work is assigned and completed as per committed dates
:Maintain functional relationship with internal Project Management partners including Sourcing, Finance, Supply Chain and Product Management
:Perform data analysis in support of the Project Manager
:Track status and provide regular updates through the life:cycle of a project
:Collect metrics to keep track of how the project is progressing and whether the deliverables produced are acceptable
:Continuously monitor scope to ensure that what was agreed to is delivered, unless changes are approved through scope management
:Proactively disseminate project information to internal and external stakeholders over the duration of the project
:Collect and prepare relevant information for presentations, reports, and project status meetings
:Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks
Skills and Qualifications:
:Previous experience working in a Project Management related role
:Customer Service experience is helpful
:Excellent organizational skills required
:Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
:Strong written and verbal communication skills required
:Must be able to proactively recognize roadblocks to mitigate impact on project deadlines
:High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework or Project Management Certification is helpful
