Your team: The “Post Market Surveillance” team plays a key role in enhancing our customer’s satisfaction by (1) listening to customer feedback and investigating issues for complete understanding, (2) combining the customer feedback with other internal data sources and doing analysis to identify key trends that provide information to Philips on areas that we should be considering launching new development efforts, (3) assessing which issues require us to take action for our customers and (4) leading product change efforts that enhance customer satisfaction from kick-off to completion of implementation at all customers’ sites. The Field Action Team is the portion of the Post Market Surveillance Team that leads technical investigations and brings the changes Philips makes to improve customer satisfaction to life. Specific skill requirements for this role include: · 3 years’ experience in designing & development solutions for use in electro-mechanical products, preferably Medical Imaging scanners. · Education: B.S. degree in Computer Science or related technical degree, or equivalent professional software engineering experience · Working knowledge of designing to IEC 60601, IPC-610 & IPC-620 standards · Computer-literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required. · Demonstrated ability of being a self-starting individual able to work independently or together with a team to meet project timelines. · Strong written and verbal communication skills required. · Experience with projects that span multiple functions and locations / countries preferred. · Strong problem-solving skills required. · Experience in a FDA or similarly regulated device environment preferred. · Experience with software engineering skills, process, techniques, and tools: · Current programming languages, e.g., C++, C# .NET, C, and scripting languages · Current operating systems, e.g., Windows, Linux, VxWorks · Source code control · Software reliability: code reviews, white box testing, TDD, etc. · Defect management · SCRUM and other forms of Agile Development preferred · Software build & test automation experience · System software installation · Diagnostics tools · System integration with global teams · Demonstrable clear oral and written communication skills; excellent command of written and spoken English. · Experience in full life-cycle software development in the medical device industry satisfying the design controls specified in the FDA Quality System Regulations or in a similarly disciplined software engineering environment · Experience developing software for medical scanner or other medical devices Our offer: This role comes with a competitive compensation offering and a generous holiday / vacation offering, but that’s not all.
