Quality Manager

The Quality Manager is accountable for the development, management, and continuous improvement of the companys Quality Management System. The Quality Manager will be expected to ensure the Plants remain in full compliance with regulatory requirements as they pertain to our market segments. The Quality Manager will validate that products are of a consistently high quality, meeting applicable customer quality requirements and published design standards and specifications.

General Functions and Specific Responsibilities

Implementation and oversight of a Quality Management System that operates in compliance with corporate values and policies, as well as relevant regulatory requirements and industry guidance, including:
o Implementation of document control procedures and review/approval of controlled documents
o Implementation of a change management process and review of all change controls
o Implementation of a supplier quality management program and performance of supplier audits as appropriate
o Complaint management including robust root cause analysis and CAPA
o Implementation of an effective Internal Audit Program
o Ensure adequate Training Programs are developed and followed
o Implementation of applicable Validation Plans including equipment, process, product and test methods
o Maintain A2LA accreditation / requirements.
o Coordinate and manage the companys compliance with with Global regulatory directives such as RoHS and WEEE.

Customer Management, including:
o Facilitate/host customer audits
o Ensure a robust and effective corrective action response to customer audit observations
o Review/approve Quality Agreements with customers
o Partner in the resolution of Quality Issues and requests for information by initiating effective interdepartmental communication
o Provide quality leadership in all new product introduction (NPI) processes and programs.

Execute talent management activities with direct reports.
o Ensure proper performance management, training, and development
o Develop an environment of continual improvement through the use of Lean tools.

BACKGROUND AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum six (6) years in a Quality function with at least 3 years in the design, development, and implementation of a Quality System.
Prefer at least three (3) years in a direct supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of ISO requirements and relevant industry standard practices required. Must have the ability to interpret these regulations to ensure proper implementation in the Quality System.
Must have experience performing risk analysis (FMEA, FTA)
ASQ certifications desirable (CQE, CQM, CQA)
Direct experience conducting supplier audits
Demonstrated understanding of Lean Manufacturing required.
Excellent project management skills required.
Experience with electronics manufacturing is preferred.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT
Must work well in a team environment, possess an ability to adapt to change, and have the ability to influence in a direct and positive manner.
