Girls' Head Coach (Varsity). Available: Immediately.
Chardon High School Lacrosse Club seeks a girls' lacrosse head coach (coaching position only). The Club, in its fourth year, is seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion and commitment for coaching, teaching, and leading young women in the game of lacrosse. The candidate will have a strong knowledge of, and passion for the game, and ideally will have college playing experience and previous lacrosse coaching experience, preferably at the high school level.

The responsibilities of the head coach include, but are not limited to;

1) Understanding and following the rules set forth by the OHSAA, Chardon High School Athletic Department and Chardon Lacrosse Club.

2) Maintain and stay current with regard to US Lacrosse membership, US Lacrosse CEP certification, background checks, Ohio Pupil Activity Permit, CPR and AED certification as well as Concussion Awareness certification.*

3) Leads by example in developing and maintaining a well disciplined team that competes hard while respecting teammates, opponents, fans and officials.

4) Commitment to plan, organize and lead practices in a manner that leads to a well prepared and motivated team on game days.

5) Works with the girls' program manager of the Club in organizing and implementing off season development programs and clinics, which will help build a strong, well respected program.

* Costs for memberships, certifications, and background checks will be covered by the Chardon Lacrosse club.

As a club team, the board of directors has budgeted this being a paid position. Appointment: Part-Time
