AmTrust Financial Services is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to provide operational and analytical support to the organizations total rewards function within the Human Resources Department. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, the Senior Compensation Analyst will have primary responsibility for administering the company compensation programs. Partners with and acts as internal consultant to management and Human Resources on all compensation related matters including related matters including base pay, incentives, market pricing, and other compensation related policies, programs, and strategies. Provides subject matter expertise in the design and administration of incentive compensation programs. Coordinates data management, payouts and related correspondence explaining and interpreting plans and programs to participants. Provides subject matter expertise related to the technical end of various compensation projects to review base pay, incentives, merit, pay adjustments and other compensation related topics. May include studies, surveys, presentations, impact analyses, modeling, costing, presentations, ad hoc data reporting, HRIS reviews and clean:up or other specialized data as needed. Administer the survey management process including survey selection, participation and results review. Creates, organizes, maintains and recommends improvements to job documentation system. Reviews and updates documentation, requests clarification and updates when necessary. With direction, evaluates jobs for internal equity, external competitiveness and communicates evaluation results to appropriate management. Conducts various annual pay reviews including producing metrics on performance distribution, percent in range, merit movement, position in range, payroll growth and other metrics and analyses as needed. Assists in the development of recommendations for new ranges and merit matrices as indicated by statistics and company strategic and financial plans. Ensures all compensation plans, programs and practices remain legally compliant with federal and state laws and/or regulations relating to compensation. Additional duties as assigned. 3+ years of experience in the analysis, design and administration of compensation programs; prefer experience in financial services industry and / or publicly traded employerBachelors degree requiredActive professional certification in Human Resources or Compensation or strong intent to pursue a certificationPrefer previous experience in building an enterprise wide job titling/grading and range strategy Strong knowledge of compensation plans and their pensation background providing analysis and job evaluationsDemonstrated knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act.Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships with HR team and business partners at all levels within the organization.LI:Post
