We currently have an opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst. We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a talented development team. The candidate should have a positive attitude and a high aptitude for solving complex business and technical problems while dealing with challenging schedules.Perform requirements gathering/elicitation and analysis in order to understand current state processes, complex business rules and desired future state; ensuring that the context and implications of the changes are identified and understood by the business and the project teamPerform Requirements Management : managing and maintaining requirements and design information from inception to project closure; Work with the business, architecture, development, and test teams to ensure that the details of the requirements are fully documented, communicated, understood and implementedAnalyze requirements, forecasting the impact of the changes proposed; defining assumptions, dependencies, risks and constraints; Creates and maintains documentation to include Business Requirements Documents (BRD), System Requirements Specifications (SRS), use cases, use case diagrams and Requirements Traceability MatricesVerify requirements by clarifying any vague or conflicting details and ensuring the final list of requirements are clear, concise and feasibleValidate requirements by evaluating the requirements with regard to priority and relevancy to the projectWork with stakeholders and customers to validate and obtain approval for all business requirements and related deliverablesAnalyze the BRD and SRS documents, creating technical design specifications, diagrams and flowcharts for developers to followA 2 or 4:year degree in computer science or related equivalent experiencePrior hands:on experience developing applications, preferably using MicrosoftA?s .Net development environmentRelational Database knowledge, specifically DB design and normalizationProficient use of the MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.Proficient in business/technical writing, business process modeling and business process flowProficient with requirement elicitation techniques such as interviewing, questionnaires, surveys, user observation, analysis of existing documentation, workshops, storyboarding, prototyping, depth knowledge of project management and software development lifecycles, including waterfall and agile methods; documenting requirements according to the selected methodologyExtensive experience in developing use cases, creating screen mockups and conducting gap analysisStrong analysis, design, documentation and presentation skillsThe ability and genuine desire to quickly learn new business processes, applications, skills and technologiesThe ability to interface well with management, peers, business areas and vendorsThe ability to thrive in a fast:paced dynamic environmentExcellent oral and written communications skills
