Works as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate and document requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.Business Analysts must able to efficiently reach an understanding of complex tasks while using this understanding to produce project artifacts that satisfy project objectives. Defines, prioritizes, communicates, and fosters shared understanding of project objectives and scopePerforms and communicates results of stakeholder analysisPlans and adapts approach to business analysis activities and artifactsCollaborates with stakeholders to elicit, prioritize, validate, and document testable, developer:ready business requirementsCollaborates with stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and manage changes to project scope and requirementsCollaborates with technical team members to ensure the solution design satisfies project objectives and business requirementsAssists the business in determining if and how new systems or system enhancements may improve business processes and capabilitiesServes as a critical resource and liaison between subject matter experts and technologists throughout the project lifecycleCollaborates with business subject matter experts and technologists throughout the project lifecycleIdentifies and communicates risks and issues as well as possible solutionsParticipates in peer reviews of business analysis artifacts.2 years minimum of business analysis or equivalentBachelors Degree required from college or universityProficient written and verbal communication skills and active listening skillsAble to think creatively and have flexibilityAble to act as a change agent to respectfully challenge the normInsatiably inquisitive with attention to detail and empathetic to stakeholder needsProficient in synthesizing information and conveying it in a way that fosters common understandingAble to critically analyze and solve problems of a complex natureAble to work effectively in a team environment, building rapport and relationshipsProficient in organization and time management skillsProficient in conflict resolution strategiesAble to work on multiple projects of moderate complexity simultaneouslyFamiliarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience in an approach such as waterfall, Agile, or ScrumProficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly in Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and VisioProficient in the use of web:based document repository applications (e.g., Microsoft SharePoint)Practice in providing work for agile principles a plus.
