The Barkley Pet Hotel is looking to fill a full-time Customer Experience Specialist position which
includes dog and cat handling, therefore, a basic comfort with dogs/cats is required. The Customer Experience Specialist must possess strong sales, people, and customer relation skills and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Computer experience and basic math competency is strongly preferred.

Hours range weekdays 7a-7p and weekends 9a-8p. Must have availability.

The Customer Experience Specialist works directly under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager. They are responsible for checking animals in and out of boarding and grooming, assisting customers with luggage/belongings, answering the telephones, scheduling appointments, collecting money due for services rendered, giving guided facility tours, and recommending products and services to clients in a convincing manner. The Customer Service/Sales Associate represents The Barkley to the public, therefore, it is of the utmost importance that he/she assure each customer of the best possible service and to be constantly courteous. In doing so, he/she must understand all policies, procedures, and service strategies, including knowledge of any special promotions offered.
