The Record to Report Process Change Advisory Board Owner is responsible for leading financial systems process improvements. The position supports company objectives while representing the Finance organizations interests related to systems changes. In addition to finance, the role will also partner with non:financial business groups as their activity integrates with finance.
:Primary architect for the finance and controlling global solution
:Drive improved efficiency by identifying and eliminating non:value added activity
:Act as the liaison between Finance Organization and IT associates to ensure both understand business requirements and priorities.
:Responsible for leading, driving, and managing project plans for system/process changes to assure timely completion.
:Plan and manage user acceptance testing for system/process changes.
:Evaluate business functional requirements and translate into technical specifications
:Analyze issues and define a clear resolution to business stakeholders
:Design and build global solution and ensure conformance to system architecture, standards and practices
:Provide end user support in the finance functional areas and business areas related to finance activity
:Support, advise, assist, guide and resolve problems for business partners
:Act as a change agent for business processes and financial transformation
:Support and provide hands on training to finance departments and service center operations
:Create/present reports to senior management detailing progress of in :process and proposed system/process improvements
:Perform other duties as assigned or directed
EDUCATION and WORK EXPERIENCE
:Minimum three years of financial systems experience. This includes designing and implementing financial process improvements across varied accounting and finance functions.
:Equivalent to a four:year degree from and accredited college/university in Accounting, Finance or IT
:SAP experience strongly preferred
