Job Title: Maintenance Field Service Engineer
Shift: Dayshift : rotating 12 hours. (Wk1: Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun : Wk2: Mon, Thu, Fri)
Hours: 6:45a:6:45p
Location: Solon, Ohio
Overtime coverage may be required


:High School diploma or GED
:Preferred technical degree in Mechatronics, Maintenance certifications, or Engineering Technology
:5:10 yrs (or more) manufacturing experience
:Experience in CNC machining repair. (Multi:axis Mill Turns, 5:axis Mills, Lathes and Grinders)
:Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, seals and electric motors and controls.
:Ability to properly use oscilloscope is preferred
:Familiarity with NC controls and servo circuits.
:Preferred knowledge in Siemens, Step 7, Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Seiko, Hitachi, Haas, HEIDENHAIN
:Knowledge of Ethernet communications, TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP
:Use of proper rigging, tow motor, and aerial lifts are required
:Preferred knowledge of Heat treating and surface treatment processes.
:Good communication skills, able to participate on project team and interface effectively
:Ability to read blueprints, follow routers, and understand operating procedures
:Strong troubleshooting skills, complete tasks independently and self:motivated.
:No remote responsibilities


This position will support the Facilities Manager and the Maintenance Department in continual process improvements to increase safety and machine uptime.

:Dismantle, assemble, maintain, and install equipment. Including leveling, alignments and initial electrical and pneumatic hookups and drops.
:Troubleshoot and repair equipment (mechanical and electrical)
:Install, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities components, products, and systems for the manufacturing plant.
:Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards
:Understanding of ladder logic and programming of PLCs, robotics, circuit design, electrical schematics, hardware design.
:Manage electrical systems including high voltage
:Preventative Maintenance adherence on all equipment.
:Root cause details on major repairs to prevent reoccurrence.
:Perform a wide variety of plant and office maintenance.
