Job Function: Accounting (40000019)


This role is responsible for product costing. The incumbent will prepare and set costs on new models and parts, as well as annual cost standard updates on all existing models and parts. They will be responsible for supporting the annual Profit Plan cost allocation calculations to be used in the annual cost roll up and provide monthly analysis of this allocation accuracy.
Will analyze cost information and prepare financial analysis and report results.
They will work closely with Product Engineering to project new model/cost packages as needed, and assist in make vs buy analysis. Compile and analyze daily cost reports.
Additional duties include assistance with month-end closing, balance sheet account reconciliation, Bill Of Material and router error detection and resolution, inventory transaction analysis, as well as ad hoc analysis.

Maintain strong controls environment.

1. Product costing including cost package analysis, product cost verification, labor router verification and new part validation
2. Financial Planning & Analysis work including cost of production, inventory reporting, and reviewing standard recovery
3. Special projects as assigned


Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or similar related fields preferred.
4+ Years of relevant experience

Strong knowledge of cost and general accounting concepts. Experience with manufacturing accounting and Bill Of Material management

Technical/Product Knowledge: SAP, MS Office, Google, Database management

Comfortable working with areas/teams outside the Finance stream, providing guidance and input to assist in maintaining standardization, strengthening process controls, and driving efficiencies.
